Cute as a button Tilda's Kitty Cat - Alphabet Challenge K for Kitty

Morning all, I'm so glad its Friday and guess what I'm going away for the weekend! up to Doncaster for the craft show on Saturday.  I'm so excited as this will be my first major show and I'm also going to meet some of my blogger friends too!!

Well onto my card for this week over on
and this week the theme is
"K for Kitty"
so lets see all those cute Kitty cats!!

I'm afraid I have a photo over load today I'm just so pleased at the way this card turned out!!
I treated myself to some XXL dies from Go Kreate so I decided to make another easel card with them.. Just loving the shape of these dies and so easy to cut with the Grand Calibur.

Thanks to Louise from Sir Stampalot as I was just about to walk out the door after asking if they had any in stock and it was showing out of stock on the website.  So asked when they will be getting they next stock in and Andy made my day and said they had just had a few just delivered.  So I was over the moon!! Thanks guys, I love it!!!

I have of course had to get out this cute little Tilda and her Kitty I just adore this stamp and the little cat sitting on the edge of the card looking like that cat that got the cream ;0)

Tilda and the cat have been 3-D and are sitting on a gorgeous wooden chair that I have stamped onto the card and then used a Nessie to give it a new shape.

The sentiment I made on the computer and say's "Have a Purrfect Birthday" these I when punched out using a stampin up punch.. Just poking out is a gorgeous teapot charm I got from The Ribbon girl. The flowers have been cut using a My favourite things die and added a bit of that Scrim.

All the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts these cherry blossom are my favourite at the moment.  I brought some plain white ones and just added Wild Honey Distress inks to them to coordinate with my card.  I have also used lots of stickles for that added sparkle.

The design paper is from a Bo Bunny paper pad that I got from Craft Den love shopping at Lynne's shop as you get such fabulous service and super quick delivery.

Here are more cherry blossom flowers and added some gorgeous seam binding and a heart button.

Just love this cute kitty! coloured with copics at always..

Tilda on a Bike Ride - Alphabet challenge J for just one word

Hello everyone, this post was suppose to have gone out yesterday but for some reason it didn't.  Hope you are all well and looking forward to a good weekend.
Over on
this week our theme and letter is
"J for Just one word"
I must admit when I was making my card I had forgotten all about just using one word and added a few more to it.  But I did include a metal embellishment with just one word to my design.

I created a circle scallop card again I so love making these cards and treated myself to some new xxl die's from Go Kreate.  The flowers are of course from Wild Orchid, the cherry blossom are my absolute fav at the moment and can't get enough of them..

I think I'm getting better at masking now, although this scene took me three attempts to make, but I'm really pleased with the result.

For my DT project I decided to make a corner bookmark.  I have a stamp  from Sweet Stamps that I cut out and coloured ready to attached  to my bookmark.  Came to put my project together  and it had vanished, I only had it seconds a go! how could it have disappeared!  The image is still missing gone AOL I think!
So I had to rethink my project.
I'm glad in a way  that I couldn't find the butterfly as I'm so pleased with the results of this project.
Stamps are from Sweet Stamps (links at end of post). Papers are My Minds Eye, glittered flowers are papermania, Martha Stewart border punch and ric rac ribbon.  The little tags are SU.

Good morning hope you have started off your bank holiday Monday nice and relaxed.  My daughter thought she was going to school today, imagine her delight when I told her it was a bank holiday.  She'd got her days mixed up and woke up thinking it was Tuesday.  :D I wasn't a mean Mum, I didn't wait until she was up and dressed before I told her lol....

Well as its the first challenge of the month over on

Teddy Bo Butterflies ~ Z for Zoo Challenge on Alphabet

Good morning, oh its so nice not to have to go to work today.  Looking forward to a day of crafting and watching the Royal Wedding.  I might even have a glass or two of  bubbly to celebrate  ;D

Over on Alphabet our letter this week is..
"Z" for Zoo
We would like to see your zoo animals.

Last week I won over on Teddy Bo and got to chose 10 images from the shop.  It was so lovely to win these gorgeous images, I have so fallen in love with these cute little bears and couldn't resist inking one of them up for this challenge, they always colour fabulously!  I had a hard time choosing which one to use but in the end I settled for Teddy Bea and butterflies.
I just adore this bright and colourful paper, its from Sassafras Wee Bundle and sadly this is the last of my stash.  Don't you hate it when that happens! I also received my parcel from Sweet Stamps and couldn't wait to use my new Dies and stamps.  The corner stamp is one from Sweet stamps as is the gorgeous Shades Ink which is wonderful to use, this shade is Brownie.  I have on order the rest of the colours and can't wait to get my little mitts on them.  lol

I love glittered the tops of the boots and the bobbles on the hat.  I decided to go for bright pinks with this card and used the tutorial for sky from "Another Messy Crafter

My dear Edwin

Good evening, sorry I haven't been around for a few days but I have came down with this nasty, horrid flu bug that has had me in bed I have just managed to get up today and have a bite to eat.  I also wanted to share with you a card that I made at the weekend and with one thing and another haven't been able to post it.

Another thing happened yesterday, the sink in the bathroom was blocked and wouldn't drain.  To cut a long story short.. the pipe outside was metal and had frozen the water inside.  Andrew replaced the pipe and we thought that was that until my daughter went for a shower....  it was raining inside the house pouring out of the celling rose in the kitchen.  Then Andrew was connecting the new pipe outside he had loosened the drain pipe under the shower.  We have had to cut a hole in the bathroom floor to fix it but thank goodness its fixed now.. What a handy hubby I have....
Anyway I always seem to babel.. On to my card
I haven't made many Edwin cards for a while, he was looking very lonely in the draw . He turned out quite well.
I used Basic Grey papers for a change and got my sewing machine out for the edges.  Lilly of the Valley sentiment stamp, Magnolia stamps, MD flower die, brad and spacers.  I used shrink plastic to make the little pears and stampin up buttons.
The sentiment stamp on the base is from Whimsy stamps and the lace is from
