Under the Sea

Hi Cheery Lynn fans and welcome to Sunday and what a lovely start to the day we have in the UK.. Beautiful clear skies and the sun is sunshining..
If you haven't already check out both of the Cheery Lynn Blogs.. We have Cheery Lynn Challenge blog where we hold the weekly challenge with a fab prize of $20 coupon to spend in the Cheery Lynn Store.
And Cheery Lynn Inspiration Blog where each day a different design will show you all the gorgeous things that can be created with Cheery Lynn Dies..

Onto my creation for this week
Craft supplies
Cheery Lynn Dies
Scrim (Can purchase from local DIY store)
Prima Paper, Lilli of the Valley Stamps, Coordination Cardstock, Glitter Dust

This card is 5"x5" I have used Classic Silver nesting stackers to create the rolled flowers.  All you have to do is cut out the size of circle you would like to use (I used the second smallest die) then cut into the circle to create a sort of spiral, I use a quilling tool to curl my flowers which holds the end in place as you twist. Finally I sprayed with glue and poured lashings of glitter dust over them.  I have then added the flourish leafs to look like seaweed.

Thanks for visiting today, don't forget to check out the challenge blog for more ideas and to enter into the weekly competition.

Anything Goes - Lets Ink it Up Challenge

Afternoon folks, hope you are having a nice and relaxing Saturday.  Mine so far hasn't been bad spent the morning catching up on my DT work.  Had a big tidy up in my make shift craft room so I am at lest back to some sort of normality.
Its our first challenge of the New year over on Lets Ink It Up and our theme for this month is
"Anything Goes"
I used another new stamp from Lilly of the Valley that I got before Christmas.  I love this cute little girl and reminds me of Summer.  I have teamed her up with some Basic Grey Papers, Wild Orchid flowers, some gorgeous crochet flowers for my Mum (Thanks Mum), Scrim and crushed satin lace from the Ribbon Real.

The sentiment also comes with the stamp I really like the font that has been used for the wording it just goes so nice with the stamp.

Copic Colours
E44, 43, 41, 40 - R85, 83, 81 - E0000, 000, 00, R20 - E29, 27, 25, 31

We are sponsor this month by

and the prize is a Scor-Buddy and Mat. How cool is that...
