My take on the Prima Doll (take 1)

Hello everybody, Tamara Here. That's another week finished with! Can't believe we are nearly halfway through the year. Bring on summer, could do with a bit of sunshine! Anyway back to my project for this weeks inspiration over on Cheery Lynn Inspirational blog
I'm really getting into my mixed media and wall hangings.  I may even create wall hanging this year instead on sending the traditional Christmas card,  (thought in would make a nice change)

I have lots of bottle caps so decided to get them out to create an embellishment using a brad, paint and matching papers.  The small silver stackers are perfect for cutting out the centre.

This stunning butterfly is an earlier die from Cheery Lynn and embosses such a gorgeous texture.

Below you can see the honeycomb die that I used to cut out my mask using acetate, doing this adds a whole new way to use your dies.

I made the little flower here and the butterfly at the top using pour and mould, white embossing powder and treasure gold.
Don't forget to head on over to the Challenge Blog to enter into our weekly competition, for a chance to win $20 spending coupon in the Cheery Lynn Store

Spring Pastels - Sweet Stamps

Hello everybody, hope you had a nice and relaxing Easter and haven't eaten to many chocolate eggs.. As its Tuesday its time for another challenge over on Sweet Stamps and this week the theme is "Spring Pastels" You don't have to use a Sweet Stamps image to enter but we love it if you do and you'll get your name entered twice into the draw to win $20 spending spree in the Sweet Stamps Store.

I loved this challenge as I don't really do pastel colours so it gave me an excuse to give them a try.
I again used the centre stepper die which is just so easy to use and so much quicker than having to measure it out..
This is a new stamp for me called Emily and is a dream to colour..  The design paper is the delightful Songbird from Prima.. Sweet Stamps is out of stock of this pad but have lots more Prima Design paper in stock.

Wallflower

Good Morning Cheery Lynn Fans..
. I have been playing around with some of Cheery Lynn's older dies this weekend and combine them with some of their new dies.

Did you know.. that Cheery Lynn has another blog which is dedicated to our weekly Challenge. New challenges start each Monday, you must use a Cheery Lynn Die on you project to enter into the competition.  The prize is a $20 spending coupon to spend in the Cheery Lynn Store.  We are also on Facebook please head on over and like our page we are nearly up to 1000 likes..

I inked the edges of the flowers and shaped them using a large embossing tool.

Anyway hope you like it..
