Anything Goes - Lets Ink it Up Challenge

Afternoon folks, hope you are having a nice and relaxing Saturday.  Mine so far hasn't been bad spent the morning catching up on my DT work.  Had a big tidy up in my make shift craft room so I am at lest back to some sort of normality.
Its our first challenge of the New year over on Lets Ink It Up and our theme for this month is
"Anything Goes"
I used another new stamp from Lilly of the Valley that I got before Christmas.  I love this cute little girl and reminds me of Summer.  I have teamed her up with some Basic Grey Papers, Wild Orchid flowers, some gorgeous crochet flowers for my Mum (Thanks Mum), Scrim and crushed satin lace from the Ribbon Real.

The sentiment also comes with the stamp I really like the font that has been used for the wording it just goes so nice with the stamp.

Copic Colours
E44, 43, 41, 40 - R85, 83, 81 - E0000, 000, 00, R20 - E29, 27, 25, 31

We are sponsor this month by

and the prize is a Scor-Buddy and Mat. How cool is that...

Shoes are a Girls Best Friend - Alphabet Challenge - M for Metal

Good morning, what a lovely sunny day we had yesterday.  Well my washing machine should be delivered today at long last seems like ages since I did any washing, my washing basket looks set to explode!!!
Well lets get on with my card for
and this week the theme is
M for Metal
Don't forget we also have a DT call so if you would like to apply please click on the link above..

I haven't used a Lilly of the Valley stamp in awhile and decided this stamp would be perfect for this challenge.

I'm so into these shaped easel cards at the moment I just love the effect that you get with them and they always seem to come together perfectly.. I achieved the shape using the Oval  XL Stacker die from the brilliant Cheery Lynn Dies which are now becoming very popular here in the UK.. I have been very lucky to design for Sweet Stamps which stock them.

This cute little Lilly of the Valley stamp I got from the Doncaster show and have completely fallen in love with their new range of stamps so you will probably be seeing a lot more for these, so watch this space..

The little sentiment is a set from Whimsy stamps which I purchased from Bunny Zoe's store. I love going shopping with my best friend and thought the sentiment fit this stamp and card down to the ground.. and just poking up at the bottom is one of those gorgeous crochet flowers that my Mum makes..

The inside view, which I have kept quite plain with a few flowers, swirl and a handmade bow made out of Jute and muslin with a satin flower for the centre.  I made another one of the front but I used a big brad and attached the shoe charm to..

Right onto my DT card
The image I used is called Garden in Provence and comes from CocoDingo Images
I have used the digital image with one of the new Magnolia stamps, it just works so well together.  CocoDingo have many background stamps that can be used with other stamps or on their own.
Flower soft has been used on some of the flowers, the sunflower has been coloured using copics

These crochet flowers are just amazing they are a triple layer flower and come in many different colours.  They have been crochet by my very talented Mum, thanks Mum!
