Sorry you're leaving....

Good evening bloggers, hope you're enjoying your weekend.  We took a trip to Tesco's this morning (hate food shopping with a passion), went a bit later than normal.  Big mistake, why is it that as soon as people get behind a shopping trolley they turn into monsters! and manners go out the window... We all want to do our shopping and get out of there,  wouldn't it make it a more pleasant experience,  if people got out of the way!! ;D

Well on to my card. Its a commission for a colleague at work that is leaving and immigrating to another part of the country. I had an idea of what I was going to do but it turn out completely different.
I've used the sketch from this weeks challenge at Truly Scrumptious.

Ruby Wedding Aniversary

Good evening peep's, not much is happening in my part of the world, only that it is still raining and I have a very poorly girl at home with a very bad cough and cold. I was up half the night with her as she couldn't sleep, bless her little cotton socks...
In the meantime I have finished a commission card that I started a few days ago.  It was a first of me a Ruby Wedding Anniversary card.  Wow 40 years of marriage, congratulations.
Well here it is

These two are so in love.

I used a hat pin and some beads and a charm to make this embellishment (I haven't used these in a while)  that can be taken off of the card and used as a bookmark..

The tag can be taken out to write a sentiment on.

As its Ruby I used a few little ruby coloured gems on the sentiment and a few around the card including Tilda's and Edwin's buttons.
I'm entering this card into the following card challenges

Feel's like ages, 2 challenges in one...

Afternoon all, what a glorious Autumnal day its been for us, just waiting for the snow to arrive  (wouldn't that be grand). I saw our very own Woody Woodpecker in the garden over the weekend, unfortunately he extremely camera shy and wouldn't perform, much to my disappointment.
On to my card for this weeks challenges....

This week the challenge is "All Pink" in support of Breast Cancer awareness month.

Just Magnolia card stretch

Good Morning, I'm still trying to get to grips with blogging, I must say its very addictive. I was way up into the wee hours browsing other peoples blogs and wow there's loads of them with a wealth of information specially the ones I looked at, mine doesn't compare but I shall get there. Its the last day on the holidays and as usual I have left all the chores until the last minute running around getting uniforms ironed and ready, doing all the things that I should have done ages ago but have been putting off. So I got up early and had a good tidy around so I could spend the rest of the day crafting. Today I'm going to do my first ever challenge for Just Magnolia (Just click on their blinky to be taken to their blog page.) They have a great blog and bags of inspiration to get the old grey cells in gear. Thinking I might do a Magnolia scene with trees, flowers, butterflies and of course Tilda, but this could change as the day goes on I start with one thing in mind and quite often in ends up as something completely different.
