Cheery Lynn - French Flair Easel Card

Hello all you Cheery Lynn Fans and welcome again to your Sunday inspiration.  This week I have a Shaped Easel card to show you made using Cheery Lynn French Flair Stackers.  For the card and the base I used the biggest stacker then went down two sizes to create the layered effect.

I used the scalloped circles to make this cheesecloth flower.. The stamp is a new one from Lilly of the valley and the sentiment is from Whimsy stamps..

Here is a close up of the mini and medium roses that I have shaped using an big balled embossing tool the centres are Candi (legless brads). Around the edges I used the wreath leaves.

The inside view, using the scalloped circle  and silver classic circle stackers using them together they create the prefect layer effect.

Here's a closer look at the cheesecloth flower

The flower in the background you can see the flower that I created using the build a flower stamens..

I love making Christmas Cards, I think its the colours, the glitter and the gorgeous papers.  The poinsettia below has been created using the Build a Flower series #1 from Cheery Lynn.  I distressed with Fired Brick Distress inks (nice and messy) then added the centres with have been glittered.  Behind the flower I have used the Lacey Christmas Ornaments which have also been glittered..
Most of my cards are 14.5cm x 14.5 cm (5/6inch Square)
for this card I cut my card size then cropped about 7cm off the bottom of the front of my card, I then die cut the Frills and Hearts border to create a lovely decorative edge.

Copic Colours
Greens - G29, 28, 24, 21
Browns - E49, 47, 44, 43, 42, 41, 40
Reds - R39, 37, 35

Windy Day

Good morning all have you have all had a nice and relaxing weekend. The weather here in the UK has been glorious over the last few days, I don't suppose it will continue for much longer but its nice while it lasts..
For my Cheery Lynn project this week  I have created a diagonal shaped card.  Haven't made one of these cards for a while.

Cheery Lynn Dies I have used

I cut my card to 14.5cm Square then cut the front diagonally across and placed my stamped image which I have layered onto purple cardstock. The flowers I distressed using distressing links and shaped.  On the edges of the flowers I used Stickles glitter glue to add some sparkle..

Here is a close up of the roses I have shaped these with one of the tools from the Crafters Tools kit  I pressed it down in the middle of the petal then bent the petals in half.

Close up of the Build a flower #2, just love these flowers.  The possibilities are endless with the different combinations.
Don't forget to check out Cheery Lynn Challenge Blog and Cheery Lynn Inspirational blog.  Each of the DT post different projects 7 days a week on both blogs, so that gives you double the inspiration...

Cheery Lynn Dies with Saturated Canary - Isabella

Hello all and welcome to the middle of the week.. My inspirational day over on Cheery Lynn  is normally on a Sunday but Sandy kindly posted for me this Sunday as I was having internet connection issues.  Hopefully I will be back up and running by next Sunday.

Today I have a card to show you today using the following dies
Our challenge over on Cheery Lynn Challenge Blog is "Borders and Edgers". You must use a Cheery Lynn Die to enter and you could be in with a chance to win a $20 voucher to shop in the Cheery Lynn Designs Store

The flowers I cut quite a few and layered them and inked the edges with black soot distress inks.  I shaped the petals using a big rounded embossing tool.  For the centres I used the
Embellishment #2 die and fastened with a brad..
This is the "Pennant Die" which I cut down to the size I wanted, inked the edges and curled then  added a few sentiment words from Lilli of the Valley. The Mini Butterflies are from the August new release. These are quickly becoming my one of my favourite dies..

These are the Sweet William flowers.

Miniature and Medium Roses with the Miniature fanciful flourish in the background..

Lastly a close up of more of the Miniature Butterflies and roses.  I have added a few white pearls to the butterflies.

Summer Days with Friends

Hello again this is my second post for today, this time its for Anything Goes Challenge Blog and the theme is "Summer Days". This week Val is hosting the challenge so pop on over and join in the fun.

For my card this week I decided to try something a little different.  I'm not sure what to call this shape of card as I was just playing around with the folds and ended up with this shape. I think I'm going to go with the name triangle gate fold card..

I started by making a 14.5cm x14.5cm card then using my EZ board I scored at A5 gate fold on both sides to create the stand.  I decorated inside as well as the back.  My photo of the whole of the inside came out all blurry which is a pain.
