The Sweet Smell of Sweet Stamps Flowers....

Hi all, here in the UK our children start back to school after the Christmas holiday's so its back to work for me..
My post today is my DT project for Sweet Stamps and our challenge for you this week is to use and Die cut and a Flower Stamp.. Sweet Stamps Store has a huge range of flower stamps to suit everyone's taste and an even bigger paper collection..
You don't have to use a sweet stamps image to enter into the draw but we love it if you do.. The prize is a $20 spending spree in the Sweet Stamps store..
Craft Items
Sweet Stamps
Design Paper - Prima
Cheery Lynn Dies - Card Die Daisy Lace Frame
Victorian Velvet, Tattered Rose, Pumice Stone, Antique Linen
Glimmer Mist, Seam Binding, Scrim from Stash.
For the stamp I used worn lipstick, victorian velvet and tattered rose distress markers over the top of the stamp to create a sort of gradient colour.. The flowers have been inked too and then shaped.  For the middles of the flowers I punched out a 1" circle of some scrap paper inked the edges and they look quite effective.. The whole card has been glimmer misted which is very hard to capture in a photo.

In the photo on the right you can see that gorgeous daisy frame..

Anyway, thank you for stopping by today your comments really make my day..

Watering Can Girl..

Morning all and welcome to other project for Sweet Stamps.  Head on over to Sweet Stamps Challenge  Blog to join in with our challenge and this week to theme is " Watercolours" Check out the challenge blog for more information.  To enter you don't have to use a Sweet Stamps image but if you do you will be entered into the prize draw twice to win a $20 spending spree in the Sweet Stamps store

I used a mixture of copics and distressing markers to achieve the shade that I wanted.. I created another of my Triangle shaped tent cards. I like doing these as they are just a little bit different.. The size of this one is 9.5cm x 9.5cm.  You start with an A4 piece of card that you fold in half and trim to your desired size.  On both of the ends of your card score at around 5 cm on each of the ends. This creates the bottom.  I will make a tutorial for this in the near future.
