Happy St Patrick's Day

Hello all, how are we all today? This is my first of my creations to show you today.  Over on Sweet Stamps Challenge Blog our challenge this week is.....
"Saint Patrick's Day"
So head on over and join in the fun and show us your lovely creations.. You don't have to use a Sweet Stamps image but we love it if you do and as a thank you or project will get entered into the prize draw twice! That means you get two chances at winning that $20 coupon to spend in the Sweet Stamps store and let me tell you, you are going to be spoilt for choice!!! So much crafting goodies to chose from..
My card this week is again a Centre Stepper card.  This takes out all of the measuring time as all you have to do is run it through your die cutting machine and maybe go over the embossing lines to help you fold and its done..
I have used copics to colour with, I'm so pleased with the colours too!

The sentiments are ones I have in my stash as are the buttons and string..
Head on over to the challenge blog to check out the rest of the design teams gorgeous creations..

The Luck of the Irish - Sweet Stamps Challenge

A very early morning to you all.  Well as we are very nearly in March its time to start thinking of.. you guested it St Patrick's Day. And that brings me nicely to our challenge over on Sweet Stamps which is created a project for St Patrick's Day.  You could have the luck of the Irish and win the $20 spending spree on stamps in the Sweet Stamps online store and if you enter using a Sweet Stamps image your name gets but into the draw twice!

I wasn't sure what I was going to do for this challenge as St Patrick's Day isn't a holiday that I personally don't celebrate.  So this is what I came up with..
I have painted the back ground paper in a little Creative Inspirations Paint - Winter Frost to give a whole shimmer effect.  The sentiment is one I created on the pc, cut into squares and mounted onto a banner using foam pads
I love this green satin ribbon, me being me I'm always looking for crafting goodies and this is one I found on my Christmas Cake! I just had to save it! so glad I did as its gorgeous!!

The image is a stamp from Sweet Stamps, this one is called " Leprechaun - 2000"  I was going to colour his mug in black and greys for Gunniness but decided to give in a pint of Ale instead.  The design paper is one I have had for years. Sorry not sure what its called.  The square in the background was cut using Cheery Lynn XL square stackers from Sweet Stamps
Creative Inspirations Paints are just fabbie and can be used on almost any surface and come in an array of colours.  I used Winter frost on this project.  These too can be purchased from Sweet Stamps..

Green Inspiration from The Cutting Cafe

Well its me again and its time for more inspiration from The Cutting Cafe and this month... It's a give away
Regina from The Cutting cafe has let us design members choose a set from her shop to play with for the month.
All you have to do to win this set is leave a comment on this post by February 18th  and I will draw a name on the19th the winner from my blog will win this
I decided to make a Happy St Patrick's Day cap, but this template can be used for almost any type of card.  With this set you will get
  • A Cap shaped card template
  • Cutting file comes with 7 straight sentiments
  • 7 Sentiments that are curved on the edge of the cap
  • Optional outline
  • A flower, buckle, a clover and a top hat puff
  • Matching envelope
The file comes in the following formats: WPC, PDF ( for cutting by hand) and SVG

I have had this paper for ages and never used it.  It is from a 12x12 paper stack called The spring stack by DCWV.

I just added a few buttons, bow and gems, the clover came with the file which I inked and faux stitched around the edge and its done..

The envelope comes with the set too and I just decorated it to match the card..
Hope you like it, as I said you don't have to make this type of card as the set has quite a few  different sentiments for different occasions.  Regina has made a baby card which you can view HERE to give you even more inspiration...
Don't forget to leave a comment on this post for a chance to win....
