Well here's my project.. I die cut the window frame out of the front of my card and placed some acetate behind to create the effect of a real window.  

Here you can just see into the card and see the little scene. 

These tags are made from the Build it flower I decided to use them as little tags from my inspirational words.. 

This is the gorgeous Sweet William dies I so adore these.. 

and this is the inside, I used another part of the build it flower in the form of a clock in the top right hand corner.. I have given the room a picture rail which is one side of the Lace Heart Refection die.  (love how these dies can be used in so many different ways)

A Little Birdie Told Me - All Creatures Great and Small...

Hello everyone and welcome to Saturday.  With only two Saturdays left before Christmas and feeling rather pleased with myself that I haven't got to do any more shopping for presents.  I'm going to have a day of watching Christmas movies  whilst wrapping up the presents.  Just Love this time of year.. 

Its the start of a new challenge over on Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge and the theme is 

"All Creatures Great and Small Including Aliens"

I again have made a Side stepper card this time its for my Daughters Christmas card as she loves her animals. 

Poor Edwin does get left out a lot of my card making but I couldn't resit inking this little fella up for this card.  He is from the Autumn stamp kit from Magnolia and couldn't wait to get a bit of colour in his cute little cheeks.. lol

The main image is an older stamp from Magnolia but I just love this image as I so reminds me of my daughter when she was younger.  (Gone are the days when she would let me plat her hair and put ribbons in) The circle sentiment is one of the new ones from LOTV I think they are called "sentiments for her" and are rather handy as they are many different sentiments that can be used for different occasions and for different ladies in your lives. 

Here's a close up of Edwin, Don't you just love his hat! The sweetie house in the background is from the 2011 collection from Molly Bloom.  I used a puffy pen on the trees to give the image a bit more depth and added glimmer dust whilst it was wet to add a bit of Christmas sparkle. The white tree is a Doohickey die cut which I have painted with picket fence crackle paint. 

I used white acrylic paint on the grass to create the effect of snow on the grass and then went and covered it up.. lol The snail was given some metal antennae and coloured the colour of Rudolph's nose. The little Robins are also a stamp from Molly Bloom that I have attached to some acetate so they look like they are flying. The postage sentiment is from Whimsy and I used the matching die to cut it out.

That week when quick! Only two more weeks until school's here in the UK break up for the Christmas Holidays.  It only seems like yesterday when I started making my Christmas cards and I still have lots to make! Today is the day I start putting up my tree and to decorate the house WooHoo....

Over on Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge we have a wonderful new theme for you that has been chosen by the lovely Kate  and that is using the photo as your inspiration.. 

A while ago I purchased some Nellie Snellen stamps from the Craft Den from the Dawns Stamp range.  I simply adore these stamps they colour up sooo well.. 

This stamp I think is called "Dawn and Critter" I have teamed this little cutie up with a few flowers from Wild orchid flowers, some gorgeous crushed satin ribbon, American seam binding and fab Gold ribbon from Prima.  

I just love this charm, can you see the little parcel hanging from Santa's sleigh? just delightful! and you can just see the American seam binding at the top.  This is gorgeous ribbon and really takes well to being inked with your distress inks and glimmer mists.  I just left mine plain for this card which looks equally as stunning.

Borders and Flowers - Secret Crafter Challenge

Good morning all, well its a special day for me today as its my birthday.  I got some lovely presents from my DH and daughter including lots of crafting goodies and jewellery what a lucky girl I am!

Its also time for a new challenge and theme over on Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge and the theme for this week has been chosen by the lovely and talented Janet and she picked..

"Borders and Flowers" (one of my favourite challenge themes)  

I couldn't wait to ink up this gorgeous new image from LOTV and boy is it a dream to colour! I also love the little "Winter Wishes" sentiment that you get with the stamp.  That gorgeous crushed ribbon is from a wonderful shop The Ribbon Reel and have very reasonable prices.

Sweet Smelling Flowers - Pick of the Bunch

Hello all you good people and welcome to Tuesday... I had an eventful day yesterday as my washing machine decided it had had enough and washed its last load before giving up the ghost.    All joking aside it was quite scary as smoke was coming out of it!! with a strong smell of something burning.  I dread to think what could have happened if I hadn't of been at home.  So I was washing machine shopping and have a new one arriving on Friday and boy will it have some work to do :0)

Anyway, onto my card for

I decided to go all girlie with this one, I'm so pleased with the way it turned out and I got to use some of the stash I brought at Doncaster craft show.

This has to be one of my favourite Tilda's and I have teamed her up with a few Molly bloom background stamps.

Good morning all, well that's it I'm on holiday now whoop whoop!! I have got so many things planned I'm not sure I'm going to fit it all in.. Here's hoping for that big Lotto win!!!

We have a new challenge for you all over on 

ALPHABET CHALLENGE 

and this week its 

L for Lemon & Lime 

This was a new challenge for me as I don't think I have ever made a card with those colours before. The first thing it made me think of was Summer and those Lemon and Lime slush puppy drinks that you get at the seaside.. yummy!!

I treated myself to a few new goodies from Summer Crafting show in Doncaster the other week and one of the crafty items was one of the XL Go Kreate Dies..

This is such a lush die and can be used as a square or as I have in the diamond shape.   Doesn't it make a fabbie easel card? 

I went a bit OTT on the flowers but I just love these flowers from Wild Orchid just add glue and glitter and well perfect!

This was a great opportunity to use one of my Hanglar and Stanglar stamps that I brought ages ago and was yet to use. This one is from the beach kit.  I coloured her in Lemon & Lime to fit in with the challenge.  The beach huts are from Molly Blooms summer range, just love these background stamps! 

The metal flowers also came from the Summer Crafting show from a stall called Sliver Orchid Beads.  I have used one of them to attach a charm to.. 

This gorgeous fabric flower came from Wild Orchid and comes on a long strip.  With plenty of flowers to use.  I have added some German glass glitter using glossy accents..  You can just see the little seahorse poking his little snout out from the flowers. 

I used some of that Scrim to back the sentiment to with some lemon glitter paper.  

The Smile sentiment is coloured with copics and then crackled with rock candy from Tim Holtz.

I decided to make an easel card for my DT card this time, I know, I know another easel card you say! but I just love making these little cards.  

I just adore the scalloped easels they are just so effective! but can be a bit awkward to make or were until I got a little pressie from the DH of a Grand Calibre and now they are a doodle!      

This little Tilda has to be one of my favourites and I've teamed her up with some new Molly bloom stamps that I got the other day.  Isn't the chick and snail just so cute! and again I have used a crochet flower that my Mum has kindly made for me, thanks again Mum, you're the best.
