Double Dutch Fold Card

Welcome to another Tuesday and a new challenge over on Sweet Stamps this week we would like to see your "Double Dutch Fold Cards" (tutorial Here).  I followed the tutorial at first but the card turned out to small for what I wanted so I made up my own using a 14.5 x 14.5 sized card cut down the front of the card to 10cm.  Cut another piece of A4 card stock to 10.5cm keep the length and using a scoring board score the two sides to make a gate fold.  Stick together and Viola its done..

The Sweet Stamps I used for this card are
The small border you can see at the back of the sentiment is Cheery Lynn's Queen Anne's Border

These gorgeous papers are from Bo Bunny and the dark pink card stock is Core'dinations Berry Collection - Heartfelt
The Pink ink is Shades Dye ink - Satin Rose

I have used pink wire to create the antennas on the butterflies just think it added another dimension to the card.  The background has been embossed with Sweet Stamps White embossing powder and coloured with Distress inks..(not a copic in sight..lol) I wanted a more muted tone of the flower and DI's were a perfect choice.

Here we have the inside of the card and I used the spotlight technique to help the stamp stand out. The Scalloped Square is one from Cheery Lynn.
