To the Letter

Hello all, the weather is certainly getting colder now and the leaves have started to fall from the trees, although we still have a lot of greenery about.  But the sun is shinning and life is good.
For this weeks challenge over on ANYTHING GOES CHALLENGE BLOG we have another theme for you..
"To the Letter" we would like to see lettering on your projects.  Head on over to the challenge blog and join in the fun!

So here's my DT Card for the challenge
I haven't done a twisted easel card for a while and decided it was time to have another go.  I absolutely adore this colour scheme! it has to be my most favourite.. The image is one that is from the Magnolia winter stamp kit, that I'm ashamed to say (hangs head in shame) I have had for a couple of weeks and haven't inked them up yet and what a fabulous image.

Copic colours
Tilda - E43, 42, 41, 40
Star - YR24, 23, 21
Hair and Skin - E27, 25, 31 - E11, 00, 000, R20

The chipboard letter I painted with red acrylic paint and then used Rock Candy distressing paints to create the shine.  The letter have been stamped using an old sentiment (sorry not sure what company its from) That gorgeous ribbon is from the Craft Den and is one from Prima.  I love the texture and dimension it brings to the card.  The papers are from MME Lost and Found Christmas  that I have stamped faux stitching around.

For the base of the card I have used a label die from Magnolia Doohickeys range, distressed it with Vintage Photo and Walnut stain inks the crimped board I have also distressed then used a MS board punch to create the hearts attached a few flowers.  In the background I have used another die from MD which has been glittered using glitter dust in gold.

A close up of that tag with a circle sentiment.

You are right, this IS a beautiful color combination. For the elements on the card and the sentiment and embellishments, a twisted easel card is perfect! Beautiful shading with your copics too.
