Hello everybody, only 4 more sleeps until our half
term break. Not that I'm counting (0: Anyway before that we have a new challenge theme starting over on Anything Goes and this fortnight our theme is...
HANDMADE BACKGROUNDS
So head on over to join in the fun.
My project this week is a canvas. I'm having so much fun with these I have quite a collection building... (0:
I painted the base with Sand Eco Green Friendly acrylic paint I then used modeling paste through the stencil and painted over.
Fresco Finish Crackle glaze was spread over the whole canvas to get the crackle effect.
These little embellishments I made with a mold, black utee and some treasure gold guilding wax.
The butterfly and sentiment is a stamp set from IndigoBlu and I believe its called Nature 2.
I have sprayed with Dylusions Black Marble ink to create a simple speckle. I have also gone over the modeling paste with some more treasure gold to make it stand out.
To finish I coated anything in Mod Podge to seal..
All craft items are available from Craft Den. Some products may not be listed on the website but if you phone or email Lynne will be able to help.
